T K Turnings Woodturners
History
I started woodturning many years ago as a hobby. One day in 1997 a reclaimed timber supplier asked if I could turn 50 sets of 4 inch farmhouse table legs per week. So I bought a Hapfo Cantilever Copy Lathe and was trained by Tom Davis now of Tom Davis Woodturning Services. He was the best tutor anyone could have, his knowledge of the machine and sharpening cutters correctly, alowed me very quickly to meet the customers demands of 50 sets per week.
By the year 2000 word of mouth had spread and demand grew and i bought a new lathe, the WEMA Joker 7000 so i was able keep up with the demand.
In 2002 I upgraded my lathe to the WEMA Joker 7000CD which is capable of indexing, fluting, reeding and twisting all controled by built in computer.
